If you have students that plan on ridding the bus, please notify the school with a few things.
1. Student's name
2. Grade or class
3. Whether the student will be riding the bus to school, from school, or both
4. Any specific bus stop or route information (if applicable)
Once we have this information, we will notify you with an exact pick-up time.
We are excited to announce that enrollment is now open for Capay School students! Please log into capay.schoolwise.com and complete the Online Registration tabs for your students. The first day of school is August 15th, please ensure that your Online Registration forms and consent forms are completed 100% before the start of school. If you have any questions, please contact the school office at 530-865-1222. We look forward to a great school year!

Capay Joint Union Elementary School District Board of Trustees will hold its monthly board meeting on Wednesday, July 31st. The meeting will take place in the Cafeteria at 6pm. (El Distrito Escolar de Capay Joint Union celebrará su reunión mensual de la Junta de Síndicos el miércoles 31 de julio. La reunión se llevará a cabo en la Cafetería a las 6 pm.)
Tomorrow at school is a water day, please bring a change of cloths and a towel with appropriate shoes. These are the last two days to check the lost and found before it is donated.

Happy Friday, Capay School! Enjoy your weekend; next week is busy! 2nd & 3rd grades go to Orland Bowl. 9am on Tues, parent /staff vs 8th grade softball, and our Capay Talent Show at 1pm. Our Kinder's graduate Wed at 10am in the cafeteria & off to Chico Bowling after, and our 8th grader's Graduate Thurs @ 7pm. Thus & Fri are mini days, dismissal time is 1:15pm with no Colt Club after school those days. The final Weekly Bulletin will go out this Sun @ 5pm.

Our Capay softball tournament is in full swing and the weather could not be more perfect! Come out and support our teams last games of the season and enjoy some lunch from our amazing snack bar! Go Colts!
Our 1st and 2nd graders used their imaginations all day yesterday at the Chico Children's Museum! What a day they had exploring new things, from Vet techs to Cowboys, Cooks to Firefighters. They had an amazing experience! Thank you, PTO, for all the wonderful field trips.
Tonight is our Board meeting @ 6 pm; tomorrow night, 5/23, there will be an open house for Kinder, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 5th at 6 pm, hope to see you there. Tomorrow is the start of our two-day softball tournament @ Capay, and the schedule is attached.
