Capay is having a 4th of July Parade and its almost here. This July 4th everyone is welcome to participate in the parade, signups are free or even better, set up a chair and enjoy the morning! Staging begins at 7:00 AM, and the parade will start promptly at 8:00 AM. Registration is free and volunteers are needed to help make this community event a success. Weekly Bulletin May 4–8: Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week. Tues: Sun Hats/Sombreros Day, Baile Folklorico dancers at 9am & churros for all. Wed: 8th Grade 🐴 Passion Projects & Speech Contest at 9am, Open House for all grades at 6pm. Thurs–Fri: Middle school softball tournament at Plaza leaving early on the bus both days! Mon & Tues says rain, it's ok to bring extra cloths for this fun week ahead!
Now is the perfect time to complete your child’s Interdistrict Attendance Agreement and submit the approved form to Kay in the Capay School Office.
To finalize your child’s enrollment with Capay School for the upcoming school year, please contact your district of residence (Orland, Hamilton, Corning, etc.) to complete the required Interdistrict Transfer Form and obtain approval from their governing board to attend Capay School.
Submitting your approved agreement early helps ensure a smooth enrollment process and secures your child’s placement for the upcoming school year. Please note that failure to submit the approved agreement may result in your child being unable to attend Capay Joint Union Elementary School for the 2026/2027 school year.
