Tomorrow is mini K day at 1pm in the cafeteria. We are excited to welcome all the incoming kindergartners to Capay School. If you know or have an incoming kindergartner please remember that this Friday, June 3rd you are welcome to come and meet your teacher and see your class room.
Dear Capay Families,
We are unable to provide bus service for the remainder of this school year. Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause not having morning or afternoon bus service, please make other arrangements. We do offer an afterschool program, Colt Club, that is open until 6pm. You are welcome to enroll your student at any time. To do so, please contact the office at 530.865.1222, Thank you for understanding.

All 7th and 8th grade students are welcome to register for the JR. Braves Football Camp 2022. Registration deadline is tomorrow May 31st.
Capay School would like to wish you a beautiful Memorial Day weekend. There is no School on Monday 5/30, we will see you Tuesday.
Tomorrow is the Turtle Bay Field Trip day for our 1st, 3rd & 4th graders. Remember to wear good shoes, pack a personal water bottle and get plenty of rest because tomorrow is going to be fun! Also remember no afterschool bus service tomorrow, Friday 5/27.
Happy Monday Capay school families. It's unfortunate news, but we have to cancel the Capay School Track meet scheduled for this Thursday May 26th. We will try again next year. The good news is we are geared up and ready for Tour De Capay at the school this Saturday May 28th @ 9:00. Bring your bikes, your helmets, and your smiles. There will be root beer floats to celebrate with too!

Hey Colt Families, Next week we are having a spirit week with a week of dress up days and they are as listed: Monday 5/9 Mix and Match Day, Tuesday 5/10 Hippie Day, Wednesday 5/11 Crocs and Socks Day, Thursday 5/12 Favorite Sports Team Day, Friday 5/13 School Colors Day. These spirit days and other weekly announcements are sent out every Sunday evening at 5:00pm by the office. Graduation photos will be taken tomorrow, 5/4 for both Kindergarten and 8th grade. The photographer will provide caps and gowns for the students to wear, so parents just make sure your student is ready for a photo. There will be a proof picture attached to an order form brought into the school at a later date for you to order from. The 1st grade play, American Symbols, was so adorable. The kids had fun and did an amazing job. Thank you to all who made it to the show and for those who couldn't here is a look at their performance.
All students are asked to bring their own personal kite to school this Friday May 6th for Kite Day!

We are very pleased with the finished area in front of the school! It was completed over spring break and is very beautiful and functional. Thank you to our families and friends who generously donated the resources needed to plant 24 trees on campus. We have all worked hard to help move the campus closer to completion. Thank you!

Your child's attendance matters! Please remember to call the office when your child is not at school, or send a note with them when they do return. Happy Monday, no boys softball practice this week. Girls practice only Tuesday 4/12 normal time, and no softball games this week or next because of Sprig Break.
