Our annual Halloween Parade will be held at 9:00 am on the basketball court on Monday, Oct. 31st. I am recommending that students bring their costumes and change into them before the parade and out of them after the parade. This will prevent the costumes from being ruined for trick or treating later on. Please also remember that costumes need to be appropriate. Imitation weapons, revealing dress and graphic violence – type costumes are examples of inappropriate costumes and are not allowed.
Parents and families are welcome to attend! Thank you we look forward to seeing all the ghosts and goblins.
Our Football and Volleyball teams had an amazing year together. We want to thank everyone who made it to support, who helped coach, and all who refereed. Congratulations to our Capay boys for the win at the Lake School tournament-Yeah You....

Next week we celebrate red ribbon week. There will be lots of fun to be had by all saying NO to drugs and pledging to stay drug free.
The Capay Rancho women's club will be holding their fist night of Pumpculent making tonight at 5pm in the Capay school cafeteria. The second class will be next Wednesday the 26th at 6pm. To purchase tickets or for more information contact Merrilee Johnson at 530-514-2202.
Our annual PTO dinner is this Saturday from 4pm-7pm. We are overwhelmed by the generous amount of amazing raffle prizes we have to offer with deserts and goodies to take home too! This year we will be serving a pasta dinner for 10$ and you can buy your tickets at the door! Thank you to everyone who have helped put this on and thank you to all that plan on coming!
This Thursday & Friday Lake school is hosting their annual Flag Football & Volleyball tournament. There will be a snack bar for the kids to eat at, so bring money or the school can provide lunch if needed, please ask ahead of time for one.
The games are scheduled as listed and family and friends are welcome to come cheer Capay on!

You might see your little ones come home with unfamiliar books. After setting up our new library we discarded a ton of older books out of the library and are letting the students pick out what they want. The books they bring home are for them to keep and enjoy!
Join us tomorrow, before and after school, to buy some treats and support our 8th grade class in the 8th grade Bake Sale.

Some things to know about this week. Football and Volleyball practice will be at normal times, Tuesday and Thursday from 3pm-4pm. The school Site Council meeting scheduled for this Tuesday has been moved to next Tuesday the 11th at 3pm in the staff room. There will be no afternoon bus service this Thursday Oct 6th. If your students ride the bus home that day please make other arrangements and the football and volleyball game is away this week at Vina, come watch if you can, Go Colts.
